For us, Trondheim is the best place to arrange the Norwegian Wind Band Championships because of it its size.
Trondheim is unique due to the proximity between the city’s concert venues, and what is more between these and all the hotels and restaurants, which are so close that they are always within walking distance.
No other city in Norway beats Trondheim in this respect. The city’s intimacy, on the banks of the river Nidelven with the fjord as its outer limit, helps manifest and create the atmosphere we are seeking for our event. Furthermore, the city is big enough to house the music movement’s biggest national championships and the over 4,000 participants. We have therefore chosen Trondheim as our permanent venue until 2020.
